HOW TO CARE
Sweep or vacuum your hardwood floor on a regular basis (about once a week) just as you would any floor covering. Make sure no rocks or pebbles get lodged in the bristles, they will cause damage to your finish.
DO NOT use abrasive or harsh chemicals such as ammonia, dish washing detergent, powdered all-purpose cleaner, Endust, Pledge, Swiffer, Murphy’s Oil Soap or any type of wax or silicone base products on your floor.
No waxing Once you wax a floor, it should be maintained as a wax-finished floor. Wax may inhibit the adhesion of future application of top coating materials or make it slippery.
Don’t soak Never mop a hardwood floor with a soaking wet mop. Overwatering may damage the wood.
Water and Vinegar ( 1 gal to 1/2 cup) - While many still feel this is an option for cleaning. some companies are saying that the acidity breaks down the finish causing the sheen of the finish to dull over time.
